The Shipbuilders Council of America (SCA) will not sell or disclose to third parties any information collected from Web forms or e-mailing lists without the user’s consent. If SCA retains agents, contractors or companies to perform services on its behalf, SCA will ensure that the company is made aware of the security practices and takes reasonable precautions to protect any transferred information.
SCA does not collect small text files called “cookies” or any other types of information remembered from each visit to the Web site. SCA has collected contact information including addresses, telephone and fax numbers from each of its shipyard and affiliate representatives and maintains this database on a password protected portion of the Web site. This database is available to SCA's shipyard and affiliate members only. In order to access this portion of the Web site, your e-mail address and SCA-approved password must be entered each time.
It is the goal of SCA’s Web site to provide factual, up-to-date information in a reasonable timeframe. It will take reasonable steps to fulfill this goal. However, SCA does not represent that this information is accurate or complete and it should not be relied upon as such.
